GMC has announced pricing for the redesigned 2013 Acadia, and it starts at $34,875. The 2013 GMC Acadia will cost $2,040 more than the 2012 model’s $32,835 starting price. The luxurious 2013 Acadia Denali will cost $46,770.
The $2,000 price jump in the Acadia’s base price is justifiable when you consider the extra standard equipment. All 2013 Acadia models will now have a rear view camera, leather wrapped steering wheel and the world’s first front-center air bag, which inflates between the two front seats during an accident to keep the driver and front passenger in place better.
If the front end of the Acadia looks familiar, it’s probably because it borrows heavily from the styling of the GMC Terrain, which is honestly a great place to borrow styling from.
If the rear end of the GMC Acadia looks familiar, it’s probably because you have a Saturn Outlook in your driveway. That’s the only way I can imagine a normal person noticing that the Acadia shares the discontinued Outlook’s rear hatch, spoiler, quarter panel and side glass, according to Autoblog.
