LL Cool J was sleeping in his Los Angeles home when he heard some rustling in his kitchen. When he found a burglar in his house, he broke the intruder’s jaw in a scuffle and then restrained him until the police arrived.
LL Cool J trained with Greg Jackson’s MMA camp, where UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and many other successful MMA fighters train, when he was in New Mexico for a show, according to Yahoo. Maybe Jackson’s training helped LL Cool J make good on his 22-year old promise. I hope that when he found the intruder, he stood in the doorway, illuminated from behind so that only his hulking silhouette showed to the robber and said “I told you what my mama said” before attacking.
A bad dude like LL Cool J needs a bad car, so the team behind NCIS: Los Angeles made sure that he had one. The rapper-turned-actor drove a 470-hp Dodge Challenger SRT8 one the set of his crime drama. If NCIS investigators make enough money to afford the $43,425 Challenger SRT8 AND go on action packed adventures, I definitely made a poor career choice.
