Taylor Swift was blamed for a DUI on Saturday. When George Boedecker, founder of Crocs shoes, those multi-colored rubber clogs with the Swiss cheese style holes all over them that are so ugly you’ll probably start seeing them on hipsters any day now, was pulled over in Colorado on Saturday night, he told police that his famous girlfriend was driving the car. The police asked who Boedecker’s girl was and he asked if they had ever heard of Taylor Swift.
Swift is dating someone else, according to The Huffington Post, but that’s just as well for Boedecker because it seems like all Taylor Swift does is break up with boys and then write mean spirited songs about them. Boedecker’s attempts to shift blame were unsuccessful and after he refused field sobriety tests, he was arrested for the DUI. Police noted that since he isn’t a total dork, he wasn’t wearing Crocs.
Taylor Swift did ride in an Audi R8 when she went on a date with Taylor Lautner, so we can include that fact in the story and add some eye candy for fans of men, women and cars (and if none of those three float your boat, I’m sorry, I tried). Unfortunately Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner did not start a long term relationship, so we don’t get to see headlines about Tay Tay while checking out at the grocery store (there’s still hope for Taylor Swift and Tay Zonday, the Chocolate Rain guy).
