Honda has released photos of the new 2013 Accord. Completely redesigned for the 2013 model year, the Accord will be smaller on the outside than this year’s model, while adding interior volume, according to Autoblog.
The new 2013 Honda Accord Sedan will look a lot like the outgoing model. Conservative styling doesn’t mean the Accord is unattractive though. You don’t have to be as out there as the Hyundai Sonata with its melty flame surfacing to be the best looking car in the segment. If you put Carrot Top and Don Draper in a crowd, the mad man wouldn’t stand out, but if you had to choose one to look like, you’d choose him. The 2013 Accord Sedan gets new headlights, taillights and LED running lamps as well as a completely redesigned body that Honda calls the “most sculpted Accord ever.”
The 2013 Accord Coupe is more aggressive than the Sedan, in the same way that Roger Sterling is more aggressive than Don Draper. The Accord Coupe looks like it might, under that handsome exterior, have it in it to kick a potential client out because of an old grudge (It was totally unplanned that my metaphor touches on Sterling refusing to work for Honda). The 2013 Accord Coupe also gets completely redesigned for next year. The black honeycomb grills and larger squared fog light surrounds combine to give the Coupe a much sportier look.
