Mopar, the performance aftermarket division of Chrysler, has announced that it will show off two souped-up versions of Chrysler cars at the 2012 North American International Auto Show. The 2012 Chrysler 200 Super S and the 2012 Dodge Charger Redline are examples of what customers can build using the Mopar catalog.
The 2012 Dodge Charger Redline uses three different stages to upgrade the Charger R/T. Stage one adds a sporty body kit and trim to the base Charger with carbon fiber scoops and spoilers, 20-inch wheels. Stage 2 adds a cat-back exhaust, front tower cross-braces ad upgraded brakes. The stage 3 kit for the 2012 Dodge Charger Redline is powered by a 426 cubic-inch HEMI crate motor with 590-hp.
The 2012 Chrysler 200 Super S comes with a full body kit, a new grill, chrome accents and a spoiler with the stage 1 kit. The stage 2 kit for the Chrysler 200 is much more exciting, with a coil-over suspension that lowers the vehicle, a cold air intake and a cat-back exhaust.
