Randy Moss announced his retirement from the NFL today, so we’re taking a stroll down the automotive memory lanes of one of the best and most colorful wide receivers of all time.
Randy Moss’ most famous car might be his 2002 Lexus LS430 (according to the enthusiasts at the Club Lexus forum the car is an LS430, news reports just state that the car was a maroon Lexus), which made headlines when Moss was involved in an incident with a traffic officer. Moss was preparing to make an illegal turn and the traffic officer attempted to stop him from doing so by stepping in front of the Lexus, causing her to fall to the ground. Moss was arrested for the incident but all criminal charges were dropped.
In the famous conversation with a fan when Randy Moss said he doesn’t need checks because he pays for everything with “straight cash, homey,” it looks like he was getting into a current generation Chevy Silverado 3500. We’re basing that guess on the configuration of the roof lights and the antenna, so if you have any other ideas on what truck it could be, let us know in the comments.
In 2008, Randy Moss bought a part of a NASCAR team now named Randy Moss Motorsports and campaigns two Toyota Tundra bodied trucks in the NASCAR Truck Series.
