The 2011 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet convertible fills a niche that most people didn’t know existed. Trying to decide between a sporty convertible and a comfortable SUV? Why not buy both? Nissan has built a two-door convertible version of the Murano crossover SUV that combines the open-air feel of a convertible with the ride height and comfort of an SUV. The 2011 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet will go on sale in the spring of 2011 and will have a starting price of $46,390.
2011 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet Standard Features
The 2011 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet convertible has a list of premium standard features that should help buyers justify the extra $17,890 it costs over the base Murano’s $28,500 starting price.
- All-wheel drive
- 3.5-liter V6 engine with 265-hp and 248 lb-ft of torque
- Heated steering wheel
- Heated seats
- Heated side mirrors
- Navigation system with XM traffic and weather updates and Zagat restaurant guide
- Bose® audio system that automatically adjusts volume for top up or down
- Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity

Competitors
The 2011 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet doesn’t have any direct competitors. The only other convertible SUV available right now is the Jeep Wrangler, which is much more utilitarian than the luxurious Murano CrossCabriolet. In the 2011 Murano CrossCabriolet’s price range, there are several luxury convertibles available, including the 2011 Audi A5 convertible, 2011 BMW Z4, 2011 Infiniti G37 convertible and 2011 Lexus IS250 convertible. None of the convertibles in the Nissan’s price range have the ability to stand out in a crowd like the unique Murano CrossCabriolet.
