The Fiat 500 will go on sale in the United States before the end of 2010. When the Fiat 500 goes on sale, it will be sold only at certain Chrysler dealerships, which are being selected now, according to Motor Authority.
A first round of dealerships has already been selected and Chrysler says it is working with others. The dealerships will be selected based on potential sales in their regions, which means most will be near large cities where small cars are more popular. Dealerships will also be selected based on their ability to provide Fiat 500 buyers with a specialized buying experience.
“We are looking for a customer experience that is as unique and personalized as the Fiat 500 itself,” Laura Soave, head of Fiat Brand North America, said. “Some of the proposals are extremely creative and in many cases not only met but exceeded our expectations. We are looking forward to working with our dealer team for the successful launch of the Fiat Brand in the United States and offering our customers the personal experience that they deserve in our Fiat Studios.”
Chrysler has not yet announced which dealerships will be selling the Fiat 500, but the goal is to have dealers in 119 markets throughout the United States. So if you’re interested in the 500, there should be a dealership near you that carries it.
