Nissan Z car enthusiasts met in Nashville, Tenn. this weekend to celebrate the 40-year anniversary of the sports car line, and Nissan used the event to reveal the 2011 Rogue’s updates.
The 2011 Nissan Rogue will have an updated front fascia and new 18-inch wheels for the SL and Krom trim lines. The Rogue will also have an iPod hookup standard on all models and an updated interior with a new dashboard and upholstery.
Mechanically, the 2011 Rogue will be identical to the 2010 model, but new lower rolling resistance tires will give the small crossover slightly better fuel economy. The front-wheel-drive Rogue will have one-mpg better economy in the city than last year’s model, while the all-wheel-drive model will have one-mpg better city mileage. The 2011 Rogue will get 22-mpg in the city and 28 highway with front-wheel-drive. The all-wheel-drive model will be rated at 22-mpg city and 26 highway.
Nissan Z cars have become legendary for their performance and style. The current Z car, the 370Z, comes with 332-horsepower. The Z car celebration was held at Nissan’s headquarters in Nashville, according to USA Today.
Nissan has not announced any pricing changes for the Rogue. The prices for 2010 Rogue models start at $20,460 for an S model and $25,310 for a top-of-the-line Rogue Krom AWD.
