During June 2010, Mini is offering a great lease incentive on the 2010 Mini Cooper hardtop. Mini Cooper hardtops with a premium package and automatic transmission can be leased for just $199 a month on a 36-month lease. The Mini lease incentive requires a $2,202 down payment and limits you to 10,000 miles a year.
A traditional lease on the 2010 Mini Cooper hardtop with the same terms and down payment would cost $380 a month.
If you’re looking for a Mini Cooper during June, and don’t have your heart set on a convertible or the turbocharged Mini Cooper S, leasing the Cooper hardtop is definitely your best choice.
A 2010 Mini Cooper hardtop with the premium package and an automatic transmission has an MSRP of $22,500. At that price, buying one will cost you $364 a month with the same $2,202 down payment and a low 2.9% interest rate through Mini on a 60-month car loan. That’s $165 more each month. Over three years, buying a new Mini Cooper will cost $5,940 more than leasing with the June incentive.
Mini also has no cost maintenance on all models for 36 months. So whether you lease or buy, you won’t be stuck with paying to fix your car while you’re still making a payment on it, at least for the first three years.
