For May, Ford is offering heavy incentives on new 2010 cars. The incentives are on a decline compared to April for several models, including the F-150, Explorer, Ranger, Sport Trac and Edge. Other models, like the Focus, are much less expensive to buy during May than they were in April. Almost every Ford car and truck is available with a 0% interest rate car loan.
The 2010 Ford Focus is available this month with either $2,500 cash back or $500 cash back combined with a 0% car loan for 36 months. That’s a great deal for such an inexpensive car. The Ford Edge and Expedition, which are available with the exact same options, aren’t as good of a deal.
The 2010 Ford Edge is more expensive this month than last, but is still a great deal with a choice between $3,500 off or $500 off and 0% interest for 60 months.
Ford trucks come with some great incentives this month. Starting with the largest, the F-250 and F-350 Super Duty are on sale in May with $5,000 cash back or no interest car loans for 36 months. Buyers of the 2010 F-150 can select either $3,500 off or $1,000 off and a 36-month 0% loan. The Ranger, which may be replaced soon, is a great deal with $3,500 off or a 0% car loan for 72 months.
If you’re one of the few people still interested in the Mercury Grand Marquis, you can get $3,000 off the price or a no interest car loan for 36 months.
The soon to be replaced Ford Explorer has heavy incentives this month. Buyers can choose between $4,000 off the price or a 0% interest rate car loan for up to 60 months. That leaves you no reason to buy the Explorer’s Mercury counterpart, the Mountaineer, which comes with either $2,000 off or 0% for up to 36 months.
Likewise, the Ford Escape represents a much better deal this month than the Mercury Mariner. The Escape comes with the choice between $2,000 cash back or a 0% car loan for 36 months. Mariner buyers get half the cash back at just $1,000, but can also choose the same no interest three-year car loan.
