Chrysler announced today that it will sell 50 Dodge Viper SRT10 Final Edition models as a tribute to the fourth generation of the Viper, which was first sold in the 2008 model year and will not be sold after the 2010 model year. The limited edition model will get unique styling and a numbered plaque on the shifter bezel. The 50 Final Edition Dodge Viper models will be split up between the three Vipers currently sold. Dodge will build 20 Final Edition coupes, 18 convertibles and 12 ACRs.
The 2010 Dodge Viper Final Edition will only be available in graphite (gray) with a black strip down the middle and two red strips around that. Final Edition Vipers will also have a unique interior with red stitched black leather and red painted gauge surrounds.
The 2010 Dodge Viper Final Edition won’t receive any performance upgrades over the standard SRT10 models, which has a 8.4-liter V10 with 600-hp and 560-lb-ft of torque. The Viper SRT10 0-60 time is less than four seconds, and the car has a top speed of 202 mph. The 2010 Dodge Viper will go from standing still to 100-mph and back in 11 seconds flat.
Dodge offered a final edition of its second generation Viper, and 326 coupes and 34 ACR models were built. The 2002 Dodge Viper Final Edition was only available painted red with white stripes.
