Tom Cruise’s daughter Suri Cruise will soon be the proud owner of a $30,000 IndyCar replica. Apparently Suri Cruise loves watching IndyCar races on TV and since her parents are obscenely rich, they can afford to have a miniature replica custom-built for her.
Since Suri is only three years old, she will only be driving up and down the Cruise family’s driveway for now. According to a family friend quoted by News.com.au, Tom Cruise will build his daughter a small racetrack at their Los Angeles house if she really enjoys driving.
You might be upset that a three year old is getting a $30,000 glorified Power Wheels car as a gift while you could obviously put that money to better use with a brand new Camaro. Keep in mind that with the amount of money the Cruise family makes, $30,000 on a child’s toy is not a totally ridiculous expense. It still doesn’t seem fair though.
The best part about this story is that some day when Suri and Tom are racing and Suri cries to Katie Holmes that daddy slammed into her, Katie will get a chance to say, “No, no, he didn’t slam you, he didn’t bump you, he didn’t nudge you… he rubbed you. And rubbing, daughter, is racing.”
