Scion’s release series are unique in the auto world. With one-off colors and body kits that change each time, the Scion Release series cars are always changing, so when you buy one it’s a pretty good bet you won’t see another in your home town. It’s like car customization for the lazy or unimaginative.
The Scion Release Series 7.0 is even more unique than the previous six. It comes in a color you won’t see outside of a mid-90s Dodge Neon: purple. Buying a Scion xB Release Series 7.0 is pretty much the best way to guarantee that you’ll always be able to find your car in parking lots.
The xB 7.0 also comes with a full body kit built by DAMD, a center exit exhaust, and an optional spoiler. The newest limited edition xB also comes with TRD lowering springs and purple accents on the seats. Strangely, the xB 7.0 will not have its own unique wheels, according to Autoblog.
It definitely won’t be the most popular Scion Release Series, but for $18,320, the xB 7.0 should have no trouble selling all 2,000 units. It’s a lot cheaper than customizing a new car on your own.
