It turns out that Twitter is useful for something besides exposing idiotic celebrities and disseminating information about a potential revolution in progress. There’s a practical consumer use for the 140 character or less social blogging site too. Pontiac used twitter to let everyone know its nationwide inventory was almost gone on Wednesday, according to Jalopnik.
Pontiac only has about 3,600 cars left at dealerships across the nation, according to the tweet. The good news is that since there are a few Pontiacs left, they will almost definitely be selling at deep discounts as dealers try to unload the rest of their inventory.
Here’s what’s left of the once mighty Pontiac, according to the company’s tweet:
16 G8 GXP
570 G8 GT
1500 G5
400 Torrent
139 Solstice Coupe
160 Solstice Coupe GXP
350 Vibe
530 G6 GXP
This is your last chance to get a Pontiac G8, which is basically a four-door Camaro.
