The car or truck you drive can say a lot about you. The Toyota Prius says you’re an environmentally-conscious person who cares about reducing our dependency on foreign oil, while the Hummer H2 says you don’t buy all that malarkey. The vehicle you buy also has an impact on world economics. Buying an American or union-made car supports either the American company or American workers who build them.
The UAW has published a list of all the 2010 models made by either United Auto Workers or Canadian Auto Workers. If you’re someone who’s staunchly pro-union, you’ll want to buy a car from this list. If you think the unions destroyed the American car companies, you’ll probably want to avoid these vehicles. Either way, if you want to make a statement with your new car purchase, you’ll want to take a look at the list.
The list features mostly American cars, which is to be expected since union workers are typically paid more than non-union, and the American car companies have longstanding relationships with the unions. Foreign cars, even those made in America, are typically built by non-union to take advantage of the lower costs.

We are looking for 2 new vehicles….and I will be DAMN SURE to not buy ANY of the above. How dare the Auto Unions wave cancelled checks at my Democratic Party and demand payback. And don’t even get me started on the Teacher Unions…or the Public Unions. I am sick of them ALL! You have gotten the last dues from me. I am moving to a Right to Work state!
Typical Republican, you probably hate the teacher’s unions because they want you to do actual work, Mamacita! Go ahead and be a scab infecting kids with your pathetic anti-worker propaganda, I hope they all grow up with no work ethic so our kids can pay for their five crack babies. Leave the hard working REAL TEACHERS to educate our children!
This list is great, We no longer be supporting any of these lazy parasitic union leeches. They should be forced to compete in the real world like the rest of us adults that are held accountable.
