Toyota has announced plans to unveil a small electric “city car” concept at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show. While no concrete details were given, a company spokesperson is said to have hinted at the fact that it would be related to the small iQ concept from earlier this year.
The company said that this vehicle is all new, and has never been seen before. In fact, Toyota will merely display the vehicle with no formal press conference or introduction. Company officials want to judge reaction since it was designed for the North American market. Though the vehicle has yet to pass U.S. crash testing, hopes are rather high that Toyota will put out something like this into production some time soon.
