The recently announced Audi TTS has already gotten a few enthusiasts hearts racing. Combining the already stellar new TT chassis with the potent 265hp 2.0-liter turbo engine from the Europe-only S3, the new TTS should really live up to it’s “Sports” moniker.
Audi has also recently set official U.S. pricing for this new model. M.S.R.P for the TTS Coupe will start at $45,500 and $47,500 for the TTS Roadster. Though no major options have been announced, expect it to sell for probably closer to $50,000 once it reaches dealers. That’s about the price of a new S4 so it should leave Audiphiles with quite a hard choice.
All models will come with the same drivetrain, meaning the obvious legendary Quattro AWD system, the 265hp turbo engine, and the company’s newest dual-clutch gearbox, now in 7-speed flavor!
No release dates have been set, but expect this new model to be in dealer showrooms by early next year. It should prove to be a popular tool for speed junkies.
