As if owning a Bentley didn’t make you stand out like a sore thumb, there is now a new way to show your a fan of the historic British mark. The design firm Ego has recently released it’s newest piece of design work, the Bentley Laptop. That’s right, as in computer.
Ego’s Bentley laptop has leather covers in the same range of colors available on a Bentley automobile so you can have the laptop in the same interior colors as your ride. There’s an integrated chrome carrying handle, gloss piano black finish inside, and two sliding doors to hide connector slots. Of course, a numbered limited-edition plate showing it is one of only 250 made is also affixed to the body of the laptop. That way you can really show off how you’re one of 250 people that have no idea what to do with their money.
Inside all that designer hoopla is a basic computer, and not even a very fast one. It has a 160GB hard drive, integrated Bluetooth, an AMD Turion 64 mobile processor running Microsoft Vista Ultimate. Even the screen is only 12.1 inches in size.
Not much computer given the price. How much you ask? Well, sold exclusively through Avant Gallery in Miami Beach, says they start at $10,900. Hey you can afford the car right? This should be pocket change…
