The United Arab Emirates account for a boat load of Rolls Royce sales worldwide. The region is the automakers biggest and most profitable market. More Rolls Royce’s exist per square mile here than anywhere else in the world.
So it comes as no surprise to learn that the U.A.E is getting it’s own limited edition Rolls Royce Phantom. Called the Peony, it’s a new limited-edition Phantom sedan. A product of the company’s Bespoke Program, this one is designed specifically for customers in the United Arab Emirates.
The peony is a flower indigenous to Asia and is said to represent royalty, wealth and distinction. The two-tone Pearl Blue exterior’s paint job contrasts with the Moonstone Pearl Blue and Seashell interior. Inside, the wood trim and door capping feature a blue and yellow color combination and leaf motif. On top of all this, a specially commissioned “Peony” perfume, created by the U.A.E. perfumery HIND, is included with the purchase of this luxury sedan.
While the trims and fittings are exclusive, the engine is the same as the standard Phantom’s. The 6.7-liter V12 makes 453 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque to move this stately sedan at a high-performance pace.
The car will be delivered to Abu Dhabi Motors, with pricing and availability not yet announced at the present moment. While it seems an important thing to regular customers, pricing is a mute point for most Arab customers as they usually have their vehicles personalized even further before getting them delivered.
Seems this might turn out to be one rare flower indeed…
