Acura’s newly redesigned MDX SUV will be getting a slight update for 2009. Now it’s power lift rear tailgate is standard, instead of being part of the technology package. This along with a few other tweaks brings the base price of the MDX from $40,955 to $41,550. Both prices include the $760 destination charge.
A top-of-the-line 2009 Acura MDX with the sport and entertainment packages starts at $49,450, including shipping. New exterior colors include Bali Blue Pearl and Mocha Metallic. Also, Acura said it has added Dayton, Ohio, to its real-time traffic system (in case you live in Dayton, Ohio).
The MDX is still equipped with a 3.7-liter V6 engine making 300hp. It’s mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission.
