Top Gear is a famous syndicated show on the BBC in England. It basically features three blokes driving the living daylights out of ton of desirable cars, and then commentating about them. A car enthusiasts dream show then, right? True, only it isn’t shown in the States. Till now…
That’s right, Top Gear is coming to U.S. television! Comedian Adam Corrolla is on board to host and that’s all that is really known of the cast so far. The pilot episode was taped last Saturday in Downey, California, and a few people were allowed to be there as the famous background audience that is so popular on the British version of the show.
Some people have already violated their “non-disclosure agreements” and the net is teaming with people’s own personal take on the show. The pilot features a Audi versus an Aston Martin, which is likely a match between the R8 and the new DBS.
No release date yet on when the show will air, but fans are clamoring at the bit for some American-style Top Gear. Oh, and whether or not the infamous “Stig” will be in the new show is still a big mystery…
