The 2010 Ford Mustang will make its official debut in mid-November at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show. A Ford source close to the project confirmed that the 2010 Mustang will in fact be unveiled in Los Angeles. The new pony car was originally expected to debut in it’s home town of Detroit.
While Ford has yet to release photos of the new Mustang, spy shots of the Mustang prototypes have been circulating on the internet since last fall. The car’s are heavily camouflaged, but it’s evident they are keeping their same basic shape. The biggest news when this new pony comes out will be it’s new EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 which is rumored to be replacing the V8 in the mustang GT. It should be rated at around 300 ponies like the current GT.
The 2010 Mustang will be unveiled to the media on November 19-20. That means photos and specs galore but the car wont make it’s public debut till the next day at the 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show. Soon Mustang fans, soon….
