Chip Foose has become a household name lately. His success as a car guy, and his warm personality, have been accepted by viewers all over the world. The Foose name is now a household name.
Now Mr. Foose is taking his empire one step further. He has released his own series of cars, aptly named the Foose Coupe. They combine the best of old-school hot rod appeal, with new-school safety and technology. Only four cars have been made so far with the first two staying with Foose. The car pictured on this page is the fourth car off the line, and was just purchased for about $300,000. The new distributor for the product, Superformance Distribution, commented that the car has a $259,000 rolling price, and it is possible for interested buyers to keep the price under or right around $300,000 for a fully equipped vehicle.
The owner of this beauty opted for a brand new 6.4-liter Hemi crate motor for his new ride. 500hp and 480 ft-lbs torque should do the job nicely, especially when it’s connected to a 5-speed manual transmission. Rolling stock includes 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero rubber backed by 14 inch Brembo brakes all around. The car also rolls on independent front suspension front and rear. This is no rough and tough hot-rod, the ride is composed and comfortable.
Foose has set his stamp on the custom car world. His style, charisma, and good-hearted nature have won him a loyal following of fans. With this new Foose Coupe, the story is just getting better and better.
