What will cars look like 20 years from now? Will they even exist then? Will driving be the same? These are questions which our German friends at Volkswagen have stepped up to answer.
Recently, the boys from Wolfsburg got together and started to think. What they came up with might surprise you. According to them your car will be like a helpful companion.
“In 2028, your car will be like a good friend,” says the German automaker. “It knows you and thinks about things automatically. You’ll think it’s normal for your car to give you clever shopping tips, support you with information for your work and play your favorite music. The car of the future will carry out fundamental driving functions itself and allow you to concentrate on what’s important to you.”
VW has gone ahead and setup a microsite where all the info can be seen. They also posted some renderings of what your future V-Dub might look like. The cars are unlike anything you’ve seen. For more, take a peek at the microsite by clicking on the link below.
