Though it’s been on the market for a bit now the newest 3-Series BMW still seems fresh. But BMW thinks that it’s best seller could use a nip-tuck.
For 2009 the new 3-Series gets an updated front and rear bumper. The new bumper gets a more M3ish profile and the rear bumper gets cleaned up a bit too. The Bimmers taillights also get a mild update and reshape and keep this BMW looking mint.
Big news on the technical side is the availability of a new 7-Speed dual-clutch transmission. The engines will remain unchanged with the range topper still being the 300hp twin turbo inline six.
The interior gets minor revisions like a redesigned armrest and some different trim. Look for the cars to star appearing in North American dealers by the end of the year. Pricing has not yet been announced but is not expected to change.
