Although GM isn’t faring too well here in America, buyers overseas love them.
GM said Wednesday it saw record sales of nearly 1.2 million vehicles in Europe in the first six months of this year, reports the Detroit News. That is a three percent increase over last year.
GM’s sales increased 58 percent in Eastern Europe and 60 percent in Russia. Surprisingly, Hummer, the brand GM is thinking about selling, saw a 21 percent jump in sales in Russia.
GM says its European market share remained steady at 9.5 percent.
