Chrysler announced today that it is recalling 6,692 Dodge Journeys for possible engine fires.
The model being recalled has the 3.5-liter engine and the engine’s wiring harness could come into contact with the left transaxle mount and possibly start an engine fire, reports AutoWeek.
The Dodge Journey was released for sale in February and Chrysler sold 17,569 units through May. Although the vehicle is still new, the recall is said not to hurt sales because minor recalls are becoming more common these days.
