BMW AG has recently reported their April sales figures. The German car giant is up 9.6% in sales here in the U.S. The good news has been across the board though for all BMW’s brands.
In April BMW sold 31,448 vehicles compared to 28,692 for the same time last year. The brand as a whole has gone up 5.6% in sales. This includes everthing from cars to motorcycles to BMW branded gear.
Then there is the MINI brand. The actually improved dramatically since last year and are reporting a 39.4% sales increase compared to last year. Those are some great looking numbers, especially for a sub-brand. You can blame rising transportation costs (read: fuel prices) as the culprit of this success.
