Aston Martin’s upcoming four-door sports car, the Rapide, is bound to be a sensation when it comes out next year. The British auto icon is known for it’s gorgeously designed automobiles and the new Rapide is no different.
Using the current stunning design language crafted by master designer Ian Cullum to good effect, the Rapide is sexy to the core. Expect celebrities and rich folks all over this one. Also expect a 480hp, 6.0 liter,V12 that’ll leave any other pretenders in the dust. The glorious engine will be mated to a smooth shifting 6-speed auto.
Spy photos from recent tests at Germany’s infamous Nurburgring circuit also have revealed a glass panoramic roof. Whether an option or standard it’ll add some glitz to the four-door Aston. Expect pricing to start in the six figures and for options to be aplenty. It’ll be out late next year as a 2010 model.
