The New York Auto Show has been a part of the auto show circuit for a while now, but every year it seems to get better and stronger. This year is no exception. The show this year was sponsored by non other than Lamborghini and was full of exciting things for the enthusiast to see.
Even though the show takes place in Manhattan, and nearly no one who lives there full time drives, it’s still the country’s biggest auto show. This year they are expecting over 1.2 million attendees! That’s more than any other U.S. auto show.
One of the most interesting factors for the impressive numbers generated by the show is that, being the last show on the American circuit, it does not reveal any new models or concepts. All of these new cars have already been revealed at the previous auto shows throughout the past months.
Either way the New York Auto Show is bound to be a success. The area of New York state has a lot of big spenders and there are more Lamborghini’s and Ferrari’s in Long Island than you might think.
The show will take place between March 21-30 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in midtown Manhattan overlooking the historic Hudson River. The Convention Center’s four floors will be fully utilized as manufactures pour in to display their latest and greatest offerings. More than 1,000 vehicles will be disbursed over 846,000 square feet of space.
If your in the New York area you owe it to yourself to check it out. The New York Auto Show is always one of the most fun events of the show circuit with game shows and give-aways by many manufactures as well as being an event the whole family can enjoy. It’s definetly worth a look!
