Virgin Atlantic has always been known as a hip, forward thinking airline company. It’s billionaire president (and Virgin empire owner), Sir Richard Branson, personifies the type of character needed for such a company to be successful. He is a forward thinker.
It’s no surprise then that Sir Richard has recently made announcements that his Virgin airline company will partner up with General Motors. Virgin Airlines will team up with Chevrolet and use Equinox hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles as its limousines of choice for passengers landing at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
The Equinox hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (that’s the forward thinking part) emits only water as it’s exhaust waste and is considered by many an industry leading technology. More news and info on the announcement can be found on GM’s FastLane Blog site. Just click below to know more.
