Bling is king nowadays. The public’s fascination with diamonds has stretched back as far as anybody can remember. They are a symbol of wealth, success and the ultimate in extravagance. Today more than ever, diamonds are the best way of saying, “I have more than you do.”
Well now you can also bling out your wheels, literally. Wheel maker Icelink has released a set new wheels which are covered in over 12,000 diamonds and over 800 sapphires. That’s not a typo folks.
“This is the ultimate luxury item,” says Andy Sogoyan, creator of the 1,100-carat wheels and founder of Icelink. “Not only will you acquire a set of the most extravagant rims ever created when you make this purchase, but you will also receive a brand new Bentley Continental GT Coupe and one-year bodyguard service for free.”
Seems like a deal, until you see the price tag which is a cool $1,000,000. For a million bucks it better come with the car! This is another example of how most people with lots of money have no taste whatsoever. The only reason to cover your wheels with diamonds is ’cause you have ran out of ideas of what to do with them. What’s next, diamond covered exhaust systems?!
One word of advice to anyone stupid enough and rich enough to go through with this purchase… Don’t curb them!
