Female race car driver Danica Patrick knows a thing or to about handling a fast car, but the 2005 Indy Rookie of The Year (finished 4th in her first Indy 500) slowed things down a bit last month when she posed for Sports Illustrated magazine. The magazine’s swimsuit issue is quite famous and know for celebrity photos.
Patrick has been featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated before. The week after the Indy 500 race the magazine acknowledged her record-setting performance. She has seen a fair share of controversy, being a female in a mostly male dominated sport. Let’s just say it’s mostly from people she’s passing on the track.
The pictures show Danica in her driving suit and in a bikini at an undisclosed beach. The shots where taken in good lighting and it came out pretty good in my opinion. Patrick is no stranger to posing in her bikini though, having appeared previously in the pages of FHM magazine but reportedly turning down the opportunity to pose for Playboy. Sorry Heff.
