When she’s not being towed around in a presidential motorcade, Mrs. Clinton drives a whole different type of ride. Well, at least her hubby Bill does. You see the Clinton’s personal automobile is a Mercury Mariner Hybrid.
Pretty obvious, huh? It’s a hybrid, it’s American, and it represents what middle class America can afford. Kinda of a cheap cop-out if you ask me. The car is a slight shallow way of showing the people of this country that they are just an average American family, like you and me. Can you imagine the Clinton’s not being politically correct? I sure as hell can’t.
But don’t think this is an ordinary civilian issue Mariner Hybrid. No not this one, we all know Bill likes to have fun! That’s why when he ordered his little ute’ he made a few, shall we say, modifications. First the car was stretched in the rear for more leg room. Then Mr. President added a mini-fridge (what no cigar humidor?!) A taste of opulence in middle America normalcy I suppose. This way Bill can keep them soda pops ice cold. Priorities, priorities my people.
