2007 was a good year for BMW. The Munich based auto manufacture reported record sales across the board for all BMW markets. Group revenues jumped 14% to $83 billion and BMW forecasts the same for all three of it’s brands.
“We expect a new record sales figure in 2008, with stronger growth in the first half of the year and more moderate growth in the second,” CEO Norbert Reithofer said in a statement.
The group’s vehicle sales in 2007 rose more than 9 percent to 1.5 million units. That’s 1.5 million more Bimmers on the road than last year. An amazing feat considering that almost all of those sales where redesigned models. This shows BMW is on a good stride and is only getting better. With almost a dozen new future models in the works, the company from Munich is on a roll.
