When the new Nissan Murano hits showrooms this year it will have a feature everybody wants, a lower price. Nissan North American Inc. says that when the new Murano comes out it will have a starting price that is $1,500 lower than the outgoing model.
Base prices of the redesigned 2009 Murano range from $27,075 to $36,655 for the all-wheel-drive LE trim level. The price includes a destination charge of $745, which is unchanged from the previous year. Just like the Altima and Altima coupe, the second-generation Murano is built on the new D platform. The Murano’s VQ 3.5-liter V-6 makes 265 hp and it’s architecture is shared with Nissan’s entire line-up.
The car’s should be in Nissan dealerships by the end of this week.
