Knightrider was one of those shows that you either loved or hated. It has it’s own small following amongst hardcore fans, and the show does strike a certain appeal. Plus, this was the show that catapulted David Hasselhoff to fame and fortune.
Well now T.V. channel NBC is trying to cash in on some nostalgia. It’s been long enough right? They seem to think so as NBC prepares a made-for-T.V. movie. Butis someone actually betting on a washed-up Hasselhoff? Not exactly…
The premise of the movie circle’s around Hasselhoff’s character’s son. Apparently that was all that was needed as a premise for a movie.
There is one major difference though, K.I.T.T is noe a Ford Mustang. I know, I know, what the hell right?! Even non-fans know that the original and rightful K.I.T.T is a GM product by the name of Trans-AM. That’s right, Pontiac.
The new movie will air on February 17th and NBC has released a teaser trailer to keep fans excited. Look for it if you cared about the show, then afterwards you can tell yourself how much better the original was.
