It is only a matter of time. The Chevy Camaro that is just around the corner is one of the most expected American cars this year. The buzz has been massive and in true historic form the Camaro is a bit late to the pony car party. But as usual it will be fashionably late.
There have been many disguised and camouflaged Camaro’s running around the U.S. but no real concrete production photos have surfaced, until now….
Below is an interior shot of an actual production interior. As you can see a lot of the concepts flash is gone but the shapes and basic look was retained. A big, beefy steering wheel, and of course, the twin binnacle for the gauges are all there.
Obviously, the made for production interior is a little cheaper looking than the show car. But the spirit of the design is there and the car is finally coming to life!
Look for them starting the beginning of 2009.
