The Toyota Prius, the single hybrid car is outselling entire brands with their full lines of models. “The Prius more than doubled sales in November compared with November 2006. Prius outsold the entire Acura, Saturn, Buick, Subaru and Mercury brands. It came close to outselling the Cadillac and Volkswagen brands.”
November was not the Prius’ best time in the spotlight. In November, Toyota sold 16,737 Prius hybrids; in May, Toyota sold more than 24,000. That is unbelievable!
Toyota says that the Prius sold in November was 109% more than what it sold in November 2006. Prius outsold every other individual Toyota and Lexus vehicle, except for the Camry and Corolla.
I must say I’m impressed by this hybrid. They really do have a lot of room and I can’t get over how quiet it is!
