As usual, when it comes to sheer driving pleasure, nothing tops a BMW. They “Ultimate Driving Machine” slogan is very fitting. BMW cars are drivers cars. Every single one has a little bit of sports car in it.
It’s no surprise then, that as long as there has been sport sedan comparisons, a BMW sport sedan (or coupe) has been at the top. They are cars that revel in being driven, and driven hard!
Well one of those usual comparisons, or “shoot-outs” as they are know in the auto industry, comes form a magazine called Car & Driver. This magazine just published it’s ‘Best Cars’ list for 2007 and guess who’s on top again…
That’s right, the perennial champ, the BMW 3 series. The 3 series (more specifically here in bi-turbo, 30ohp, 335i guise) won the shoot-out against some tough competition this year. The ranking is developed by Car & Driver editors, who evaluate vehicles on performance, driving satisfaction and value.
