Recently I was sent on assignment to the South Florida Auto Show to get the scoop on what the future holds for us, the auto consumer. This was the 37th installment of the auto show, and as such, was feature packed with lot’s of displays from various manufacturers.
First launched in 1971, today the auto show is among the largest and most prestigious in the nation. It gathers nearly 1,000 of the newest models from more than 40 manufacturers all under one roof at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
There are many things to see at the show. In fact I recommend you set aside an entire day for it. Some of my favorite exhibits are Motorcycle Mall (at the auto show? didn’t bother me!), the Million Dollar Alley featuring Aston-Martins, Bentleys, Ferraris, and Lamborghinis just to name a few, and Memory Lane with an impressive collection of classics. There really is something for every car buff. Heck, there is something for just about everybody to enjoy.
While I was there I had a chance to speak to alot of top people at General Motors and the related interviews can be found of our site. They had some interesting stuff to say, as you’ll surely see, and let me in on some great info that I in turn pass too you! This was quite an important show for GM. They unvailed they’re new full size Hybrid SUV’s including, the much anticipated Cadillac Escalade Hybrid.
The show will be at the Miami Convention Center November 9th-18th. I’ve posted the info straight of their website so you can make sure you can fit it in your schedule. Trust me it’s well worth it!
