That sterotype of men never asking for directions might change when Google gets their way. Google is looking to help both men and women by “dispensing directions at gas station pumps, pointing them to landmarks, hotels, restaurants and other points of interest. ”
Now once you find that pesky hotel off in the middle of nowhere using a Google-based interface, the pump will print out directions!! The service will start with 3,500 pumps, based on retailer demand.
This answers the question of how you get men to ask for directions: Make it a toy they can use when no one is looking. Heck, I’m a woman, and I must say pretty good with directions, and this is still pretty cool, no matter what? But the real question is how much is it going to cost just to press a button or even print?!
