In a move that proves there is more to life than just buisness, the Ford Motor Company has just made some “Bold Moves” by coming to the aid of the people of california affected by the raging wildfires. Ford has donated 20 speacialty vehicles, ranging from their F-350 to Expedition models to help in assisting fire crew and personel. All the vehicles were equipped with the right equipment to do the job. The vehicles were sent along with a group of people from Ford Volunteer Corps who will assist with the ongoing recovery effort. If that weren’t enough the Ford Motor Co. Fund has also contributed $100,000 dollars to the San Diego chapter of the Red Cross. But what’s come to the surprise of most is the fact that the Ford Motor Credit Company is offering customers impacted by the wildfires the opportunity to delay some vehicle payments while they are getting their lives back in order. This comes as a surprise to many as generosity like this does not come along very often. Now some might argue that Ford is merely cashing in on this tragedy for some well needed publicity, but I have a different way of thinking about it. Sure they know that they look pretty darn good in front of the american people for doing this, but to be honest, they didn’t need to do anything. But the fact that they did do something, whether for their benifit or not, is enough. This is about helping people, and it seems Ford is ready to step up to the plate. Bravo Ford, bravo.

I don’t mean to be too in your face, but I’m not sure I agree with this. Anyhow, thanks for sharing and I think I’ll write a post on this on my blog soon.
