Nissan has recently announced that it is increasing the price of it’s 2008 Titan full-size pick ups. The updated trucks will be badged as 2008.5’s. The mid-cycle price increase comes after a slew of improvements that were implemented mid-year in the Titan range. These include the addition of a body-color grille on Titan XE models, the addition of heated mirrors and microfilter on Titan PRO-4X Leather Package and a leather-wrapped steering wheel to the Titan SE Popular Package. The truck now sells for a base price of $26,075, including a destination charge of $745. This equals out to a $940 price increase over the sticker price of a 2007 Titan 2WD King Cab XE. There is one thing that curiously remains the same though, and that is the PRO-4X King Cab models whose price remain the same at $32,725 including destination, the same as the 2008 model. This could mean a good deal to those of you who need a truck for work or just don’t want or care for the extra doo-dad’s that come with the 2008.5 model. Also it should be noted that any leftover 2007 models should be left with a hefty discount. The Nissan Titan has got a lot of good reviews and so far has proven a very durable truck with consumers. If your in the market for a full-size pick-up keep in mind the advantage that this previous knowledge can net you at your local nissan dealer.
