Edmunds.com has recently released it’s list of the most fuel efficient cars for 2007. As usual the Japanese top most of the list with a long running trend of providing very efficient cars in almost every category. In fact the only non-japanese car on the list is the “British” MINI Cooper. Toyota especially, boasts an amazing number of fuel effiecient cars taking up four spots on the list. Honda comes in a a close second with three. As most would have guessed it the Toyota’s trend-setting Prius tops the list even though it has been concluded that it’s EPA estimates for mpg are a little higher than real world driving nets you. Even so, it is still the most fuel efficient car on the market currently for sale. Below is the rest of the list from their website, which can also be seen by visiting this link-

2. Honda Civic Hybrid- 49/51 mpg
3. Toyota Camry Hybrid- 40/38 mpg
4. Toyota Yaris- 34/40 mpg
5. Honda FIT- 33/38 mpg
6. Toyota Corrola- 32/41 mpg
7. MINI Cooper- 32/40 mpg
8. Hyundai Accent/ KIA Rio- 32/35 mpg
9. Honda Civic- 30/40 mpg
10. Nissan Versa- 30/36 mpg
