A sticker, found above the windshield on the Four Season Wrangler Unlimited reads, in warning bright yellow: “The top and doors on this vehicle are designed only for protection against the elements. Do not rely on the top and doors to contain occupants within the vehicle or to protect against injury during an accident. Wear seatbelts at all times.”
Automobilemag.com commented on how ironic it is that it states that the doors are merely there as something to look at. “So how is that supposed to be taken? The doors are for decoration only? They offer all the protection of an umbrella?” I agree. What is the point of the doors if they are just something to make you think you are safe. So are all Jeeps safe? And why is this sticker just now showing up, what happened previously that made this sticker something they felt was needed?
