For all you hip-hop and tuner lovers patiently salivating for this moment, it’s here! Mitsubishi has finally unveiled the much anticipated 2008 Evolution X, their latest and possibly greatest rendition of the iconic performance driven machine.
Scheduled for a January 2008 release in the USA, Mitsubishi has left nothing to chance with the Evolution X. Under the hood is a new 2.0 liter 295-hp, 300-ft.lb. Turbocharged AWD I4 giving this little beast a 0-60 time of 5.0 seconds and yet still managing a respectable 26 mpg fuel economy estimate.
If you order the MR version, your Evo will come with 18-inch BBS wheels, Bilstein dampers, lighter brakes and Yokohama A13 tires. The Interior comes with form-fitting Recaro bucket seats and twin-binnacle instrument area. Don’t expect a cush luxury ride with this baby, but do expect to take corners as if affixed by glue and instant acceleration to match the aggressive looks.
