When I first saw the Lexus SC in a retractable hardtop I was sold (in my dreams anyway). What a great idea a convertable and hartop in one. The roof looks cool as it comes down and adds style to the car. No more theft issues from someone tearing into your convertable. No more chill sneaking in during the winter. I always wanted a convertable, but we had few choices, and I never wanted one full time. I just read an article in the Boston Globe about a bunch of more affordable cars becoming available with the retractable hardtop option. Take a look, I think some of these will surprise you. I think I might have to consider these more now than ever.
