The press releases and news stories by manufacturers about going green and reducing fuel usage continues. This week the latest to join in is Audi as reported by Autonews. They are launching their first hybrid and diesel vehicles this year, starting with the Q7 SUV it appears. This has been done in conjunction with Porsche and VW, so fans of these cars should start seeing some options in the years ahead as well.
While everyone seems to be jumping into the ongoing green trend, most of what we see are announcements with very few options in the market for new car buyers. Hopefully as developments continue you and I will actually see a hybrid we want to buy. With sales of these types of cars still very small, most people are willing, just not able as the choices are so few. Lets hope this improves soon.
